Job description

  • Assist the Country Director in deploying the Group’s strategy, financial management and internal control rules, applicable within the Affiliate
  • Carry out specific responsibilities and tasks given by the country director
  • Ensure that all administrative formalities are established in accordance with the legal requirements of the country
  • Supervise in terms of value and quantity/volumes of stock.
  • Ensure that the fiscal and social regulations in force are properly followed and mastered
  • Managing and supervising the accounting/finance/audit and treasury departments.
  • Review and audit the accounts of Affiliates
  • Preparation of the half-yearly and annual financial documents of the Affiliates and parent company
  • Participate in the validation of monthly situations
  • Carrying out specific audit assignments in Affiliates and branches, assistance in the preparation of annual accounts in collaboration with international firms.
  • Analyze the results of the Affiliates in conjunction with business management control
  • Participate in the development of the Group's financing plans.
  • Participating in internal control, advising Affiliates on the Group's best practices.
  • Implementing specific studies at the request of business units.
  • Participate in/lead the management of the relationship with third parties: accountants, auditors, banks, lawyers.
  • Implement a continuous improvement process for financial and administrative procedures.
  • Leading the due diligence work related to external growth.

Profile

Education

  • Kazakh National
  • Advanced professional certificate or upper management and business school, with specialization in Finance Management, accountancy, and ideally also have an accountant certificate.
  • Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Fluent Russian and English
  • Kazakh and French language are a plus


Experience

  • A successful track record of management of finance departments in international and multi-cultural organizations
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field and the same position at an international level
  • Full exposure, experience and knowledge of Kazakhstan Financial, accounting and tax regulations
  • Experience with accounts extraction and integration of local accounting info in mother companies accounting companies
